Microsoft has announced next month's free offerings for Xbox Live members. While last month's Games with Gold program was a bit of a letdown, with the standout title being Grow Up, August looks like it'll be a bit better.

Starting things off, Xbox One owners will receive Slime Rancher for the duration of August, with Trials Fusion coming in halfway through the month. Following up are two solid Xbox 360 games, completely backwards compatible on Xbox One: Bayonetta and Red Faction: Armageddon. Red Faction may not live up to its predecessor, Guerrilla, but it still offers a unique adventure.

Overall, this month is a lot better with Trials Fusion and Bayonetta being the highlights.
