Brawlout, one of the only games out there to try and put its own spin on Nintendo’s massively successful fighting game formula, has another new combatant tagging-into the fight before the game launches for PS4 and Xbox One later this summer. This time it’s Yooka-Laylee, the lizard-bat duo from Playtonic Games’ mostly successful 3D platformer of the same name

As seen above, Yooka-Laylee has their very own themed stage to throw-down in, and many of their signature combo moves from their own game have been adapted to bring the pain in Brawlout. They don’t appear to be as hard-hitting as some of the other characters available like Juan or Hyper-Light Drifter, but maybe they’ll be the Kirby of the game: plain and unassuming for most, but a nightmare powerhouse in the hands of a master.

Brawlout is available now on Steam and Nintendo Switch, and will launch on August 21 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
