The next installment into the long running Ys franchise has an official release date in the west. NIS America has announced today that Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will hit PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and PC on September 12.

Considering September this year is looking relatively dry (in comparison to previous years) with primarily Destiny 2 and Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite being the headliners, Ys VIII could very well attract a grander audience. It will also feature dual audio (English and Japanese), along with English and French subtitles.
